Our mascot is a magpie holding a wrench and a hammer. In Korea, magpies are said to bring good news — ours brings tools that quietly take annoying chores off your hands.
What this site is
K-magpie Tools is a collection of everyday utilities — image editing, PDF handling, converters and calculators — built to work right in your web browser, with nothing to install and no account to create. The English collection currently covers images, PDFs and everyday utilities, plus a set of calculators for people working in Korea. The full collection (30+ tools) is available in Korean.
The principles

Image, PDF and HWP document tools process the original files on your device without uploading them. The browser downloads the programs, models and fonts needed for each task. Some tools can work offline after those resources have been cached.
The Korean meeting-notes tool saves drafts in your browser. Dictation tries on-device recognition first and asks for your agreement before using browser-server recognition, which may send audio to the browser provider. The Korean and English tool pages may show Google AdSense ads but contain no Google Analytics code. Advertising and Cloudflare usage and performance measurement are described in the privacy policy. Who builds it
K-magpie Tools is built and run by a single indie developer — K-magpie — who also makes games and mobile apps. It started with a simple annoyance: "why does every one of these tools demand an account?" New tools are added regularly, and existing ones keep getting refined based on user feedback.
